There are 47 branches you can work from. You only need to sing up once, which costs 80CZK and then you can not only work from here for free but also borrow any book for up to 4 weeks. Unfortunately they are closed on the weekends (we think working from a café with great brunch is better anyways 🤓). You probably heard about this place and it's so great we think it's still worth mentioning! With location in the city centre Cafedu connects students and hardworking individuals over great coffee and productive atmosphere. On the ground floor you'll find a cozy café with daily offers sandwiches and cakes. On the top floor you'll find study and debate room which are open 24/7. To access those, you'll need to pay membership. Good thing is, you can choose either per month for 649CZK, per 3 months for 1499CZK of half-year for 2499CZK. If you are a student you get membership 3 times cheaper!
Newly opened café in Prague 4 called Typika is definitely worth the visit! With minimal interior and co-rowing vibes you are gonna love working here. They put a lot of effort into their drinks and food menu, so how to better pay your membership then in cups of coffee. Let us know how you like it!
In case you find yourself often around Karlín and don't want to pay over 100CZK for a good cup of coffee don't miss out on this bistro Proti Proudu! Along with great coffee and homemade cakes they offer amazing breakfast, huge (and when we say huge, we mean HUGE) sandwiches and daily lunch offers. The staff is always friendly and you'll often find the owner behind the counter overseeing the place. We recommend making a reservation if you plan on coming in peak hours over breakfast or lunch hours.
When in Prague 2 and you don't feel like big library or commercial coffee definitely stop by Sweet & Pepper DAYS. Cozy family bistro with delicious food, weekend brunch, nice atmosphere and close to the city centre once you feel like wrapping up work and meeting with friends (work hard play hard right?!).
